DONATION at MUSEUM

Donation project#01JAUME PLENSA: SILENT VOICES exhibition

Thank you for participating our new project of collecting donations through exhibition. 50% of admissions were planned to be donated to "Medecins du Monde" and "TOKYO ART BEAT". We appreciate your understanding and many encouraging comments, such as "please continue the program helping out our society at large".
Throughout about 50 days of the exhibition, 519 viewers contributed 285,475 JPY as total to above two organizations. We hosted a party to cerebrate this success with all the guests at "Donors' Night".

We had lots of guests, more than expected on the day. After introduicng two organizations, Mr.Tamada presented "the most generous gift, more valuable than the amount" in front of all the guests. We are happy to declare that the mission is accomplished.
We re-played a special lecture "Public Space Projects" by Jaume plensa, which was held in this May at Spanish Embassy. We all enjoyed this rare opportunity to listen to Jaume Plensa talking about his works.

As 2 one man shows of Jaume Plensa opened in Europe, Musee d Art Contemporain NICE and Institut Valencia d'Art Modern, we re-exhibited "SILENT VOICES" from Nov 27th to Dec 15th.
For this time, half of the admission, 21500yen, has donated to earthquake victimes in Niigata. Thank you for your kind participation.
