SASAOKA Keiko 2001-2007

Distant from the precision of German photography or the intimacy that forms another stream constructed by snap shot like contemporary photography, Sasaoka's works carry out indigenous art form to attain her own aesthetics. Sasaoka has worked on series of “LIMIT” and “KANKO” as well as shooting Hiroshima in the series “PARK CITY. Her concept seems coherent and resonated in harmony with the most exquisite state in Buddhism, its engagement in ontological inquiry. The recent works of new series “Fishing” shows its hype.
This exhibition is held to present works from 2001 to 2007, which lead audience inbetween the sense of existence and absence.
